Hello Everyone,
I wanted to make everyone aware of this: I selected yes to participate in a mystery shopping job, which comes up as an offer from another sponsor once you have submitted your first page. This past week, I received in the mail a letter containing an official check for $1999.75, with a letter congratulating me for signing up for their program through the affiliate. I researched the bank listed on the check (which is an actual bank in the United States), and the letter gives you a user ID and a job ID, which you go to the site to enter. Once you enter your ID, your name pops up welcoming you to the program. The letter and site tells you to deposit the check in your account and wait until it clears, then take out your $350 participation fee, and the rest is to be used for your 2 assignments. It also tells you NOT to accept the first assignment on the site until you have the money in your hand. You are then suppose to go to the retailer, evaluate whatever they need you to do and any merchandise you purchase is yours to keep. Last night,I researched further on the internet and this is a scam!!! Some people have also posted on blogs they honestly signed up for programs on legitimate sites (I won't name drop here), and thought is was legit after also doing research. I just wanted to make everyone aware.
